Just wanted to let you all know if you haven't already heard somewhere else, Guidance Band will be performing at Reggae on the River in Humboldt, California.  The lineup this year is awesome, see you all there.

Hey everybody, we've been really busy lately just wanted to give you all an update.  Weve been actively booking the Reggae Living Legends tour for the 2012 summer and its looking like it's gonna be a great one.  If you haven't already, check out the video at the top of the page explaining it all (made by Malia of Mayoland Productions)

Also in the last month we've been blessed to perform with Bambu Station and the legendary Sister Nancy.  Thank you to Sister Nancy for recording with us, two great new tracks to come, "Guidance Band and Sister Nancy" and an awesome tune she recorded with Mindy "Smilin."  We are really excited about both so stay tuned in for special releases.

For the first time ever, Guidance Band and Power of the Trinity Productions would like to present a true roots reggae collaboration.  Pato Banton, Half Pint, Winston Jarrett and Guidance Band will be performing together as "Reggae Living Legends 2012"

we just got back from a two week, three island tour with Half Pint.  The shows were outstanding.  We started on Maui doing 2 shows and a radio appearance.  Then it was off to the Big Island to do the Conscious Riddims festival along with our good friends Ras Mystic and Lion Fiyah.  We finished the outer island run at one of our favorite spots kaya's, for some waffles and sunday morning jams. On the Big Island we started filming a music video with Half Pint to release our new song with him "Unity For Humanity.  It's not finished yet but here's a sneak peak at whats in the works.

After the Big Island it was back to Oahu for a few shows at Tropics, Breakers, Boardriders, and Foreplay and Anna Obriens.  It is truly an honor to get to perform like this with the legendary Half Pint.  His Music has been such a fundamental part in Guidance Band's development that it is a blessing to know him personally now.  So much is happening and in the works for now, so stay tuned, keep checking back, lots more coming.  Happy Holidays - One Love - GUIDANCE BAND

Guidance Band Debut Album is finally finished.  We just got the masters back and will be sending to print early next week.  Look forward to 15 tracks of original music with speacial guests, Half Pint, Winston Jarrett, Pato Banton and Sister Micky.  Roots!

GUIDANCE BAND JUST GOT BACK HOME TO HAWAII OFF A GREAT WEST COAST TOUR.  THE BAND PERFORMED AT SO MANY FESTIVALS AND VENUES UP AND DOWN THE BEAUTIFUL WEST COAST.  NOW BACK HOME WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO A LOT OF FORWARD MOVEMENT.  

ALSO THE GUIDANCE BAND DEBUT ALBUM FEATURING 15 ORIGINAL TRACKS WITH SPECIAL GUESTS HALF PINT, PATO BANTON, WINSTON JARRETT AND SISTER MICKY IS ABOUT TO DROP.  WITH A STRONG BALANCE OF ROOTS PRAISE SONGS, UPFULL STUDIO ONE LIKE TRACKS AND DRIVING DUBS THROUGHOUT, THE ALBUM IS BEING VERY WELL RECEIVED.

GUIDANCE BAND IS PROUD TO BE A PART OF THE H.I. ROOTS COMPILATION.  A ROOTS COMPILATION OF 17 BANDS FROM OAHU, BIG ISLAND AND MAUI.  BECAUSE OF ALL IT'S SUCCESS, LOOKS LIKE VOLUME 2 MIGHT BE SOON TO FOLLOW.
